Video game voice-over goddess Lani Minella and founder of AudioGodz.com is offering a series of four voice-over teleclasses between July 29th and August 19th.
For those who live in areas where voice-over classes and workshops are rare occurrences, taking one (or all) of these teleclasses will be of great benefit to aspiring voice actors, beginners, and professionals who’d like to expand into the video game voice-over market and learn new techniques to improve their craft.
Although I have not personally taken Lani’s classes, I will say that Lani knows the video game VO industry extremely well. Besides voicing over 300 characters for more than 500 projects, Lani’s AudioGodz company has delivered production services for 400+ clients (see a “partial list of credits” here) involving casting, voice directing, voice acting, writing, ADR/looping, and sound design/editing/foley/music. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet and chat with Lani in person twice, and have observed her giving helpful individual evaluations for fledgling voice talents at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Lani’s upcoming teleconference classes are limited to small groups (8-10 people) and those spaces are nearly filled. She tells me these teleclasses are likely a one-time event as she may not offer them again in this format, although she does offer services regularly in private coaching and demo evaluation.
