Diedrich Bader, voice of Batman on Batman: The Brave and The Bold tells The Toronto Star that working on the series is officially his “favourite job ever.” He adds, “I’ve had it now for about a year and a half, and I’m still really, really excited about it.”
Bader also discusses what it’s like working with fellow voice cast members John DiMaggio (Aquaman) and Tom Kenny (Plastic Man), and for fans of the show he offers some potential “spoilers” regarding an upcoming episode:
“We have a story … I’m not even sure I’m allowed to tell you this, but we have a story (coming up) about Batman’s past, how Batman was created, and I started weeping in the studio. Seriously, I actually started crying in front of everyone. Some hero.”

Bader is also featured on the July 17th episode of The Goode Family (previously reported here), and will be appearing at Cartoon Network’s Batman: The Brave and The Bold panel presentation and special episode premiere screening at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24th, along with co-star DiMaggio and voice director Andrea Romano.
