Fox has greenlit 13 half-hour episodes for “Bob’s Burgers,” a new animated comedy from Loren Bouchard (Lucy, Daughter of the Devil) and Jim Dauterive (King of the Hill).
Set to premiere in early 2011, the show’s plot involves a “creative grill chef who owns a just-barely-surviving hamburger restaurant [and] runs the place with help from his uptight wife and their three less-than-helpful kids.”
Although casting is still underway, TheWrap.com says that the pilot shown at the recent TV Critics Association Press Tour (TCA) featured the following voice talents:
– H. Jon Benjamin: Home Movies, Dr. Katz, Archer
– Eugene Mirman: Delocated, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force
– Kristen Schaal: The Daily Show, Freak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force
– Dan Mintz: writer on Important Things With Dimitri Martin, Crank Yankers
– …and comedian/YouTube performer John Roberts

Comedy, shmomedy. When do we get some action toons in primetime? We haven’t had that since Batman/Superman on Fox and WB, and Invasion: America.
