Following the success of their 2008 cruise, Nickelodeon has announced two new family cruises for 2009 between July and August with Royal Caribbean International.
Among the events planned for the cruises are meet-and-greets with Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Chris Hardwick, voice of Otis the Cow on Back to the Barnyard who will be introducing “never-before-seen episodes” of their respective shows.

In related Tom Kenny news, the actor will also be appearing at The Paley Center in Los Angeles, CA on March 26th for a premiere screening and panel discussion of the new FOX animated series Sit Down, Shut Up, along with his co-stars Henry Winkler, Cheri Oteri and other cast members may appear as well. [A] group of more than 200 parents, teachers and students crammed into an auditorium Monday night to hear a reading of Yertle the Turtle by voice actor Tom Kenny, who plays cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants.
“He was the best,” said 10-year-old Mario Mejia, who was one of the many students giggling as they listened to Kenny apply different voices to characters Yertle and Mack.
Kenny, who spent the rest of the day reading at schools in the Compton Unified School District, hoped to use his voice to inspire students to read more, he said.
“A lot of my facility with voices and things came from reading to my younger siblings when I was a child,” he explained.
